Blueberry festival time to visit the museum.

It’s very old with lots of history, nice for older folks , don’t go over too well with younger children. They like having a cookie & hot cocoa in the winter time

Went here with my wife and mother-in-law. It was a nice tour with tons of cool history of Wilton. If you are a local or just visiting. It's a nice little stop.

Town History: Bass Shoes, Bottles, and a "Maine Giantess"
Aug. 2016 • Friends
In the historic former boarding house for the Bass Shoe factory, there are displays of furnishings, artwork, past town industries, tools, clothing, and more--on four floors. Knowledgeable volunteer guides have lots of stories or you can wander through by yourself. They're also willing to give special tours outside of regular (limited) hours.

Ever see a Giant 7 foot woman?
Jul. 2015 • Family
I never knew that the giant 7ft woman from the Barnum and Baileys Circus was from Wilton. You have to see her life size reproduction and the story on her. She was friends with the littlest man, Tom Thumb. The museum also has some great history on the town, and Bass Shoe factory that had its home here

Local museum - great variety of displays!
Aug. 2014 • Solo
The Wilton Farm and Home Museum is a local history museum operated by the Wilton Historical Society. I learned the story of Sylvia Hardy, Maine's Giantess, viewed exhibits which include historic household items, tools used in crafts and trades such as farming, shoe making and black smithing, a great collection of Maine bottles. I like the fine artwork of Joe Knowles. It was very interesting - enjoyed my tour.
