As we walked in the little store where you buy tickets, the woman was already giving instructions. I had no clue what she was saying and had to have her slow down and repeat herself (I was conversing with others in my group, because again,...More

First of all, bring cash, not credit or debit cards, because the owner will rudely tell you that he has it posted on his website 900 TIMES (!!!!) that he only takes cash. Luckily, someone in our party had enough to cover the $80 bill...More

Visited with the in laws Bc they live close by. The cavern is mediocre compared to Luray Caverns yet is only $8 cheaper than Luray. The tour guide was nice and informative but became annoying when he repeated literally every minute, “do not touch, keep...More

Visited with my sister and her kids. $20 per adult/ $10 per kid. Smallish cave compared to others we've seen. Not exactly a 'professional' presentation.

Crystal Grottoes claims "more formations per square foot than any Cave known to man," which is a pretty grandiose claim that's pretty hard to verify. What it doesn't say is that it's a small cave, dwarfed by Carlsbad in NM, Mammoth in KY, Luray and...More
