We camped here over Memorial Day weekend. On a whim we went into Crisfield for food. And discovered the Softshell Crab Festival. Freshly out of the lions club fryer onto classic white bread. Heavenly. I suspect it's a fund raiser as this area relies heavily...More

Although the nature center was not yet open for the season, the ranger opened it for us and we enjoyed a look around. We could see how it would be enjoyable in the season especially for children.

Walked along river and climbed observation tower. Hiked on wooded trail but map handout does not show zigzag turns, so difficult to follow. Nice little store, friendly staff.

I recently took a group of 13 motorhomes at this park. I hadn't told them we were a group but they figured it out before we got there because of all the reservations coming in all at once in their slow season. Some of the...More

Perfect area to kayak. If it's windy it can be challenging. There are beaches you can kayak to for breaks. The bathrooms at the park were clean and had showers.

Went fishing, crabbing from the pier. My neice went swimming on the small beach. Beautifull sunsets.

Been going to Crisfield for vacation since 1985. Used to stay in tents at Janes Island but since older now (64) we stay in condo in town. Would rather be at the park in an RV so we could be right there to enjoy the park and nature. Does any one know if there are RV rentals in the area? They would have to set one up for us because I've never pulled one and would be afraid to pull it.They would also have to pick it up on our departure. Did this one year & enjoyed it but the business has closed so now need to find someone else. Thanks! Ron

Have no idea about RV rentals but I hear they have 4 cabins right there. Check it out. Many campgrounds have cabins.
