Behind the Emmanuel Episcopal Church on Washington Street is a nice Victorian house that serves as the parish office. It is on the grounds of Fort Cumberland, and, in fact, the Fort's well is in a corner of the parking lot. Beautiful old home west of downtown. Good historical library and helpful staff. If your family is from here, visit this place!

You learn about the history of Cumberland here and the history of this house, but it is more for children.
