What a beautiful campus hidden in the Maryland hills near Pennsylvania forest. Much history to see to include local tributes to veterans. Had never heard of the University until the 2017 NCAA finals. If you are considering beautiful campus with 1st class sports facilities, consider Mount St. Mary's. A good academic reputation offering curriculums generally only found at much larger... More

We stopped to see Mount St. Mary's campus and visit the beautiful Immaculate Conception Chapel that is near the seminary building. It's a lovely, large chapel with a beautiful sanctuary, stained glass windows, wood-carved stations of the cross and wooden pews. So serene and prayerful.

Very nice campus. Quiet place, the golden Mary statue is an amazing thing. I have been on numerous occasions and it is great.

I have the pleasure of working for Mount St. Mary's University at their graduate campus in Frederick. I do visit the main campus on occasion for meetings, etc., and am always very impressed by the beauty of it. The grounds are beautifully cared for, the buildings are lovely and the view is gorgeous. I have found my co-workers and the... More

While visiting nearby national shrines (Our Lady Mary and St. Elizabeth Ann Seton), we took the time to appreciate this lovely campus. Regardless of the time of year, beautiful scenery are present. Next drive down Rt 15 - we will have time to visit inside the chapel and seminary.

Easily seen from Route 15, this iconic campus and seminary regularly welcomes visitors. The beautiful campus is home to several chapels including the recently renovated Chapel of the Immaculate Conception. Daily mass is available in several locations. The students, faculty and staff are friendly and helpful. A newly added "proudly serving Starbucks" recently opened in the student center!

This past weekend, my mom and I visited Mount St. Mary's University. We both agreed the campus was gorgeous. The sports building was huge! (I was most interested in the pool and the fitness center.) We also looked at the dorms, library, and cafeteria. However, the thing that stood out the most was the cathedral where my mom and I... More

A spectacular collection of old buildings form the foundation of this campus. If you are interested in in old buildings and architecture it is worth a stop.

Maryland history is written all over Mt St Mary's, its neighboring community of Emmitsburg, the Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton....visit them all, and you know you are walking on sacred ground.
