We visited Tyntesfield in February and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The car park costs £3 all day and the house was about £14 each. The staff in the rooms were really interesting and clearly enjoyed their jobs. There are lots of gardens to walk around...More

Ate lunch in the restaurant we both had the lovely home made soup, butternut squash, however the roll to go with it was the worst white roll and no alternative wholemeal roll, perhaps they should offer an alternative.More

.....even in the middle of winter. Volunteers are very knowledgeable. The Snooker room "calculator" was fascinating as was the medicine cabinet collection. Lovely walks Recommend

Great place to visit over the christmas period as the festivities and wonderfully decorated house really brought a victorian christmas to life.

Visited here just after Christmas 2017 and their special Victorian Christmas exhibition was still ongoing.
