We met family here midway and it worked well - the grounds are huge and lovely and the house was interesting - and all the dates etc are exactly as you"d expect

Nice sunny day. Followed map for poem walk. Thoroughly enjoyed walk but very steep parts to walk not sure it would be viable for people with restrictive mobility and young children. Looking forward to do autumn tree walk!

They are not the cheapest, but there are some excellent picnic areas and its worth taking your own food and drinks
