How can you go wrong

It is great to be able to go to amusement park rides so close to home. Animals for kids to experience. Great unhealthy food - it doesn't get better.

I have loved going to the MC Agricultural Fair for decades, and still enjoy it. But, don't go on a weekend day or night- too chaotic... Love the 4H barns and the animals!

Beautiful fair, with the local animals, and produce, ideal to take the children and explain a little bit of how we benefit from them.

Arrived early afternoon with my young children, it was amazing! Great food from fried Oreos, funnel cake, kettle popcorn to local restaurant vendors. My kids are picky but there was something for everyone! It was family friendly games, horse rides, and fair games. Kids had a blast on the rides, no one was left out even my toddler had rides... Especially the animals and firetrucks. The rides are good too. As well as the crafts. But our favorite pArt is checking out the animals, bees etc. very family friendly with easy parking

One of our great traditions in Montgomery County is an annual visit to this fair. For a modest $10 admission fee, you can choose between the carnival rides, farm animal exhibitions, fair food (not for the diet-conscious), and art, craft, and crop exhibits from our friends and neighbors. Loads of fun, whatever you choose.

At an agricultural fair my young (11 year old) son, rightly, expected to be able to actually touch and interact with some animals. At least some baby animals. Nothing could have been further from the truth. There was not even a petting area. No place to feed babies, no place to pet animals, nothing. We were both quite disappointed. We... More

The AgFair isn't just cows and pigs - it's rides, it's games, it's remarkable artworks, it's REALLY good food. And all in one place, in the middle of the city. What's not to like?

Just going to the fair to see many farm animals was thrilling for my 2 year old. My daughter also enjoyed the kiddie rides. We're excited to return this year with our now three year old and one year old! I'd advice to take the school bus shuttle from the mall. It was a fast, easy, and free ride.

Every August I mark my calendar and take a day trip to the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair. Close to the main entrance you will find The Big Cheese. Don't be discouraged by the long lines as they offer one of the best grilled cheese sandwiches around. Just like the ones Mom made, and it comes with a pickle for added... More
