Major let down! River and trail is supposed to drop their clients up river and allow them to float down. At which time pick them up down river. They ruined our trip by not picking 21 of us up. We stood around cold and wet...More

Our experience with River & Trail Outfitters was great. The staff is so kind, welcoming, and accommodating; you could tell they truly wanted us to have the best experience as possible. We did the Shenandoah River Float, which was exactly what we were looking for....More

"Guide" is a huge understatement to describe Morey. Overjoyed to have had his time on the rivers. Heron, Bald Eagle, class three Shenandoah rapids, oh my!

This place is so confusing and confused. They gave us so many mixed messages. From the time we checked in - which by the way apparently making phone calls are more important than helping your customers. We weren't told ahead to go to a location...More

We did the Antietam River Tubing which should have been pretty laid back and was for the most part. We were not given any information on things we should be aware of or avoid or guidance on potential dangers. For as much as this river...More

Lisa, We regret that you had a scary experience on the Antietam Creek. River & Trail, local boaters and other outfitters all work to clear the Antietam of downed trees with chainsaws though out the season being a nature environment trees do fall after storms....More

Yes it is very calm waters. This 66 year old may need a little help getting in and out of the tube but other than that, very relaxing and enjoyably
