A couple of points: beautiful, and well laid out course. Medium level of difficulty so good for me. Staff, both on the course and in the restaurant are always cheerful and helpful.

Very nice facility that could be made much better if the natural areas were minimized a bit and pushed further from the fairways. Great starting hole...and a front nine that's pretty much what you see is what you get ( although hole 3 and the par 5, 7th favor those with local knowledge. The back tightens on 15 and 16..choose... We were guests at a 6 pm Friday night wedding and the venue is beautiful! Vast scenic views of rolling hills, lush greenery, the golf course as a backdrop...just perfect! The ceremony was outside under the pergola while guests sat on chairs on the lawn. After the ceremony, we went to the terrace for cocktail hour. I wish there was... More

Musket Ridge has long been one of my favorite local courses. It has stunning views, is generally well maintained and has friendly and courteous staff. As a prior reviewer noted, though, the staff may be a little TOO courteous since rangers don't really manage pace of play. I went to play this morning, after being assured that the tee times... Typical golf club grill with typical run of the mill sandwiches, cole slaw, and/or pickles somewhat overpriced with obligatory way overpriced beer. Waitresses are always friendly with golfers and vice-versa!

Musket Ridge did an excellent job on my Son and Daughter in laws wedding. They were calling for rain and the staff kept check of the weather right up until the last minute. We had 15 min to change our minds and they were ready to jump if they wanted to move the wedding. The food was excellant, music out... More

Rangers were very respectful and did not push the players. This made slow play for everyone. Lots of under repair areas. Facilities very nice, use GPS to get there.

I am a low-handicapper, and I like both the challenge of Musket Ridge and the beautiful scenery. There are some interesting holes that require you to hit a variety of shots with a sizable risk/reward ratio. (Be prepared to lose golf balls if you hit it off line.) The clubhouse is nice. It's a quality golf course. I recommend.

Played Prime time on a Sunday. $95 greens fees included range balls. However we had to hutoff mats.Course is very hilly with beautiful scenery. Greens in great shape, no GPS, would go back if not for 75 mile ride to get there.

This course, rated in the Top 10 in Maryalnd is challenging and has some fantastic views- However, there are no course marshalls and 5 hr and 30 min round of golf is totally unacceptable! Ironically the pace of play is on the scorecard and posted in each golf cart- ordered food as directed before making the turn, the hot dogs... More
