Lots of history of the area and life saving. Even the 7-year-old was interested. The kids got a short scavenger hunt game with a prize at the end and they did the whole thing (unheard of for these kids). I've been coming to OC for...More

we stopped in one moringing while we were there. A great little spot which tells the story of Ocean city, how it started, what the challenges were etc. Really a great spot for history buffs.

What a gem right at the inlet section of the boardwalk. The displays are fascinating and well organized by topic and room. Lots to look at here but it is not cramped or crowded. If you love the beach, history, the coast guard, or lifeguards,...More

We don't think of the OC Boardwalk as being a place for history, but you will get a real history lesson at the Life-Saving Station Museum - never knew they were the original Coast Guard - and what guts those men had also.

First off I would like to say that the person that thinks this is expensive must be lost. Admission is $3 for an adult and a whole dollar for a child under 17. If that is expensive I must be the one lost. If you...More

Ok, all you need to do is walk down to the end of the boardwalk to get to the museum. There's no information overload and both you and your family will enjoy learning a few details of how challenging life was not that long ago.

They had a nice exhibit right at the end of the inlet. Our boys might have been too young to really understand what was there, but for me it was just ok. I did like looking at the pictures of the lifeguards over time. Some...More

Two floors of historical footage about the history of Ocean City and their rescue and life saving techniques. Only $3.00 to get in, and well worth it!

Everyone has to stop in and visit history of the area. You will also see the largest tiger shark, and the huge anchor at the beginning of the tour.
