The boat trip was still nice though. you see some really amazing houses, some restaurants located on the water and we saw a bald eagle. The bird was huge.... More

We go on this every year with our son. It is very educational, and fun. The staff is very knowledgeable about the local wildlife, and history of the area.

Seeing the horses on the beach was great. We drove through the park and would recommend this as a great camping place. We got up close to the horses even though you can't touch, the experience of being that close was great.

This excursion departs from the dock at Talbot Street each day at 10:30, 12:30, and 2:30 bound for Assateague Island. We took the 10:30 trip on a beautiful, sunny morning in September. There is a parking lot about 2 blocks from the ticket booth reserved for this attraction. Tickets go on sale 1/2 hour before departure. You board a pontoon... More

I gave this an average rating, because the price wasn't bad $16 for adults and $12 for seniors and the captains helper did a good job. Also, we did get two see a couple of groups of ponies, which was awesome. They are beautiful. If I was basing it on the boat ride alone, I would give it a rating... More

I will start off by saying we killed 2 birds with 1 stone on this one. We had wanted to drive to Assateague, but were running short on time and weren't really sure how well my 2-year old daughter would do in the back seat of a car for that long to maybe or maybe not see ponies. Also, she... More

We went with our 2 year old and he loved it. We did sees ponies though it's never a guarantee and honestly my son was more interested in the other boats on the water. The stop on the island to catch fish and crabs was a nice break and we all enjoyed it. I would recommend wearing sandals or flip... More

This is a fun and informative boat trip to Assateague Island, that's suitable for all ages. We saw lots of ponies and the kids loved catching crabs in the provided nets. Could have had a little more time on the island, but overall it's a nice trip for the price.

we used our coupons and got $4 off the 9:00 a.m. trip. we actually was standing at the wrong ticket booth and was watching our boat pull out of the marina so my friend went running waving her hands and screaming wait... the captain pulled up to the dock and allowed us to board and pay when returned.. how about... First of all the tour guide was so loud it hurt my ears....the very worst part...they stop on this very tiny point of the island and you can't walk around the island. We saw 0 ponies...I hated it...wasted $30...just save some money and drive to the island.
