Had a wonderful trip. Great information about oystercatchers, their history and future. Too bad it wasn't an "R" month! The 'catch' made us want a freshly schucked Maryland oyster!

I was excited to find this outing. But when we initially got out on the water I was a little concerned that it was going to be a boring few hours. Not so; quiet sailing and relaxing. The captain, however, told us stories the entire...More

The Captain was very knowledgeable. There were some kids on board he included them and made it nice for everyone. Weather was great. We'll worth the trip. Had an unplanned visit to the museum which was included. Nice bonus.

The Captain, an experienced oysterman, is also a talented teacher. He knows how to hold an audience while explaining how "skipjacks" once dotted the bay doing their dredging, and how and why the world of oystering has had its ups and downs. Altogether a wonderful...More

This trip was a real treat, an afternoon sail with a captain who still dredges for oysters during the oyster season. This boat is living history, and the captain is knowledgeable and gracious to all, including children.

Dress is casual boat wear. In August we wore shorts and tee shirts. Good non- skid shoes are essential.
