Pretty good food for Arena food

Went to a concert here and didn't have time to eat out. Had steak and cheese sandwich and fries and it was really good. The acoustics in the arena were good. I just wish I didn't have a really tall person in front of me!

Bless it's buttons, the civic center has been around for awhile and it shows. Probably the most uncomfortable seating anywhere, sketchy sound system...I avoid attending events there just because it is so uncomfortable. They try to have really good shows, and I'm sure they are great, but I just can't get past the discomfort of the physical plant.

For the most part, some venues have some interest, but the attractions are fair grounds stuff ( moto cross, monster trucks, etc. Most of the live concerts are has beens with some not able to put on much of a show. Occasionally some shows are geared to specifics ( Christian, etc.) and have some interest depending on your beliefs. This... More

In the middle of renovations. They are doing a great job updating the facility. Good parking. This is a great community resource for large meetings and events.

Visiting the Civic Center in Salisbury, MD is always very smooth and very nice. People have always been friendly. There really isn't a bad seat in the house for a venue.

It's a shame that such a nice building is basically useless. There's never anything fun here, just d-list concerts and events for elderly locals. Hopefully the rumors of a hockey team moving in are correct...

The USSSA softball opening ceremonies were held here, thank God as the temp outside hovered in the mid 90's. The arena is a bit dated and the seats that pullout to expand seating are very old and uncomfortable.

My husband and I went to see a concert at Wicomico Youth & Civic Center. The pros were that it's small so everything seems more intimate. Our seats were on the floor but i think seats up higher would be just as good. It would have been nice to have had a beer or two but they don't serve alcohol.... More

Im glad we have a local venue for live concerts but the place looks just the same as it did when i saw david lee roth there in 1989 and the old salisbury mall was next to it and open if that tells you anything.. If your into country music played by cookie cutter bands that are not quite famous... More
