We love to kayak at Buffumville Lake! On one end, an island to explore on the other no one!! It's great fun to kayak under the road and see the kids play at the little beach. Lots of fish jumping, too!

At the top of the dam, there is a spot where you can see towards the center of the Milky Way Galaxy. Many a night I've set up telescopes, binoculars or just the unaided eye to view the heavens.

Lovely lake for swimming, boating, fishing and hiking while in the area stop at Bay Path Cemetery about two miles up the road and visit the grave of Grizzly Adams

Theres a boat launch across the street from the park. No charge t o park and there is plenty of parking. A lot of people boat and kayak at Buffumville
