Capt Mike is simply a pro. Very knowledgeable and skilled on the water. Put us on fish early and often. Caught more Stripers than we could count.

Captain Mike was an absolute pleasure to work with. Coordinating our charter trip was easy, as he was very responsive in all his communication. Out on the water, though, is where his experience and expertise really paid off. He said he could smell where the fish were, and I know that sounds like a tall tale, but once he told us to drop our lines we were pulling in some very nice striped bass within about a minute. We decided to keep four of the first ones, but we continued to catch and release some impressive fish for the rest of the trip. On the way in he filleted them for us. We were grilling bass for the whole family that same evening.
If you’re looking to go out on the water for some great fishing in the Chatham, MA area you absolutely need to call Captain Mike at Magic Fishing Charters. He’s worth every penny!

My family, including our two teenage boys, had a wonderful time fishing with Captain Mike and his very helpful grandson. Mike was friendly and professional, playing dual roles as teacher and entertainer as he showed us the ropes and offered insightful tips related to finding the best fishing spots. We caught so many stripers that we eventually stopped counting. We also snagged two bluefish, and Mike carefully handled those to show us their razor sharp little teeth. Our overall experience in Chatham was absolutely lovely, but our 4 hours spent on the Magic was the highlight of the week.

Local experienced sport fisherman here. We did a 4 hour fishing charter and had an awesome time. Got our limit of stripers, including a couple 40"+ big ones, plus 20-25 schoolies. We were reeling constantly. Also saw a humpback whale up close! I highly recommend Capt. Mike Abdow and the "Magic."

Mike is the best! He has so much experience...he knows how to find fish. Every time I have fished with Mike, he got us into fish. I terms of catching fish,it's not a question of "if", it's really a question of "how many". He's great with kids too. My sons really enjoyed fishing with him! I didn't add photos to this review, but we caught lots of big striped bass - similar to those depicted on his website.

Mike proved to be an experienced, knowledgeable fisherman. Moving from fishing spot to fishing spot in search or larger fish. we caught 50-60 Stripped bass in 4 hours.
Mike entertained the entire group with his humor and stories the entire trip. Mike was more than helpful with the inexperienced fisherman and colorful with the more experienced.

We had such a great time and also have dinner for two days. Captain Mike was great with the kids and really made our trip worth it! We will come back next year.

Captain Mike is a great fisherman and he will keep you entertained with his stories of fishing off Cape Cod. My son and I were able to book a trip with Mike, he is popular so book early, and we had a very successful day over 50 fish between us. I have charted boats in other places in the past and I have had some dreadful experiences. Not this time, Captain Mike is the real deal!

I had heard a lot of great things about Captain Mike but never had the chance to get onboard Magic.
Well, I was lucky enough to be on the east coast in early September and made the trip to go fish stripers with Captain Mike.
I wanted to target big stripers and Cap was happy to put me on them from the first drop until we pulled the plug because we couldn't move our arms anymore.
Capt. Mike runs an immaculate boat with top notch gear and electronics. He kept us on fish as well as entertained with his stories of the sea .
Looking forward to making it again for a giant blue fin hunt.
