It is pretty amazing that a wonderfully beautiful area like this is not heavily used in the busy summer season, but like Great Rock Bight, there wasn't a lot of people here. This Preserve is home to the second highest point on the Island (300...More

Menemsha Hills is an absolutely beautiful area on Martha's Vineyard! There are three overlooks, and one of those overlooks is the second-highest point on the island. Each lookout has beautiful views of Martha's Vineyard, Vineyard Sound, and Cape Cod. The trail is very well-maintained, and...More

It actually is more of a hike than a walk. To do the whole circuit takes about two hours. There are a lot of ups and downs, but two outlooks offer spectacular views of the Sound and the Elizabeth Islands.

1m hike round trip to the 2nd highest point on the island. Only 3 feet lower than the high point (Peaked hill 111') at Prospect hill. Nice trails, plenty of parking.

This walk takes you to one of the highest spots on the island, through some interesting and beautiful landscape. The high points are great views of the ocean from at least two spots. We encountered only one other person when we were there.

This fairly easy walk (but with some substance and route options) offered wonderful birdlife, varying vegetation, a few points to admire ocean views, and an access to a rocky beach at the end. Highly recommended property owned by Trustees of Reservations!

This was a wonderful trail. Not steep and very beautiful views. The small sign to the parking lot was too high for a driver to see and was hidden behind trees and bushes. The trail had some signage, but could have used more. Sometimes it...More
