About
Thread your way through woodlands and cross open fields that descend to one of the state's loveliest tidal rivers. Watch for great blue herons and other waders in the shallows, and northern harriers overhead.

Tucked away between farmland and stone walls, this hidden gem is a delight. You get sweeping views of the ocean and marshlands, wildlife is abundant here and the fields of flowers are amazing. The natural landscape is breathtaking here and this is a good spot...More

We always enjoy walks on Trustees property. This one was no exception. The brochure with the trail map was helpful. The trails to the right have neat views of the river, then into some uplands for a nice 2 mile walk

At least 3 miles of trails in the reservation but you can connect to the Dartmoor farm wildlife management area if you want more. A nice mix of trails in the woods and mowed grass trails out in the open with great views of Slowcum's...More

The trails are flat and easy, weaving through some open farm fields and more wooded areas. There are not many spots to get to the river itself, however. Some lovely spots, though.

Lovely place to take a hike, walk right along the river, nice paths and some artwork here and there to enjoy as well. Just be careful of ticks we came home with quite a few on us.

Lovely location, short interesting trails to and above Slocum River. A couple years ago, the DNRT hosted an amazing collection of outdoor scuptures which were beautifully sited and varied. Really, really interesting..

I could spend so much time here. It's fun to walk alone or with friends or family. My dog loves the trails and I love the views.

Farmland with an ocean salty breeze, quite unique. Large cut trails, not blazed, but easy to loop around. Fine spot to get outdoors for a bit, hear some chirping birds, take in some views and relax.

Slocum's River Reserve is a lovely spot for hiking with folks of all ages. Dogs are welcome too. Stretch your legs, enjoy some gorgeous Dartmouth coastline. There are often art installations throughout the reserve, making it a varied and always enjoyable spot.
