This is a landmark of high value and historical significance. I found the interior to be fascinating and interesting as it presents what life was like in Dedham over 300 years ago.

Make an appointment for a personalized guided tour of this well kept up wooden house - the oldest in the USA. The docent guide is knowledgeable about the history of this building and will happily answer you questions.

The oldest original wood frame house standing in North America. The first part built in 1630 something, the docent guide was full of information about the house and family. An hour tour. Worth doing!
