This is a wonderful place to see a movie. Minimal kids and crowds. Wine and beer with your popcorn. Excellent taste in movies. We had a wonderful night out and I look forward to going back to this classic theater many times.

Dedham Community Theatre manages, somehow, to survive and provide the only venue for miles around where you can see decent art-house or independent cinema. Good popcorn, drink a beer if you want,...but film is the thing. Legacy Place is right up the street running blockbusters...More

Great to have this gem from the past in our neighborhood. Needs some love but the prices and choices are worth the trip.

Who needs a megaplex?...Enjoy a nice, off the beaten path movie in a comfortable, old school atmosphere. Owners make you feel welcome and appreciated as opposed to cattle at a major plex.

The owners have made a great effort to make this very old theatre a comfortable venue. The seating is OK. Both screens have modern audio visual systems. They feature "art house" films, so they show many critically acclaimed productions that are not available elsewhere in...More
