When traveling to the Cape, stop and see a show at the Cape Playhouse. It is a historic church that was moved to the property in the early 1920's. You sit in pews and there isn't a bad seat in the house! Many famous actors...More

The actors are professional. They are from Broadway, movies and TV. Excellent productions. This is not local theater. The playhouse itself is old and dated. Old wooden bench seats with thin cushions to sit on. But the actors, the sets, the music, and the overall...More

We enjoyed seeing Red last night. It's a great old theater and a treat to have here on the cape. Jane Fonda had her acting debut here in 1956.

We would recommend the balcony or orchestra seats. They are a bit more expensive but the view of the stage is a whole better than the Loge seats. Great place though and you'll enjoy the actors.
