This cinema is an essential part of the Cape experience. Where else can you attend movies or broadcast opera and theater in an retro-atmosphere complete with slip-covered (and comfortable) chairs. Only drawbacks are a slightly snarky snack bar and a rest room facility down a...More

For only $6 you can see a first rate movie in a cozy old theater. Some of the seats which are probably the original seats, are not very comfortable and taped together, but you can manage for a couple of hours. It is not a...More

Loved this theatre, loved the movie. Unfortunately, found it hard to walk after the film...the seats are so uncomfortable! I recommend bringing a pillow to sit on if you go.

The movie theatre is part of 3 building campus, consisting of an art museum, playhouse, and movie theatre. It was constructed in the early 1900s and its art deco ceiling makes the visit well worthwhile. First quality movies are shown with comfortable arm chair seating.

THis is a special place, an old fashioned summer stock theater for movies. THere are real arm chair seats and a wonderful, fun, homey sort of feeling. They also feature quality movies, not the usual shlock. Makes for a great break at the end of...More

The Cape Cinema is a delight. In addition to showing exceptional films, it screens National Theater Live productions and Live from the Met performances in a small, quiet venue with very comfortable seating and delicious refreshments, including old-fashioned, fresh-popped, buttered popcorn and home-baked cookies -...More

This is one of the most historic and fascinating theaters in the country. Make sure to get there early, so you can see the bathrooms and the decorations in the theater itself. The ceiling mural and stage curtains are true works of art. They used...More

This is a great chance to see some of the lesser shown and Indy movies as well as Live at the Met. The cinema itself, part of the Cape Cod Center for the Arts, is a little rough for wear. It was clean but sure...More
