Great beach for boogie boarding. Much better than Marconi Beach where you are pelted with rocks in the waves. The shuttle bus was only a minor inconvenience.

The best beach on the Cape. Parking is far away but a shuttle brings you from the parking to the beach. Can walk miles toward Wellfleet. Beautiful views and can spot seals.

Coast Guard Beach has a small lot which we were able to park in during early evening visits; however, during the day in summer, it is only accessible by tram. The tram lot has plenty of parking, covered areas for shelter and clearly marked walkways....More

Parking is a mile away but the Park Service runs a continuous free shuttle back and forth from the huge parking area. Beach wasn't overly crowded despite the holiday week. Had nice bathroom facilities and outdoor showers. Had lifeguards. Even had an area to bring...More

Of 3 National Seashore Beaches (Nauset Light, Marconi, and Coast Guard) this seems to be the least rocky and have the most surfers. I was a little hesitant about the "no parking on site-shuttle provided from off-site parking lot". I shouldn't have worried. It was...More

Son and husband came across seals on the beach playing and hanging out at about 9p. They come in at low tide.

I don't know. I would imagine yes since there were dogs at the beach.

I do not know. The parking at the beach for me is expensive however, there is a small parking close to the beach I think right hand but is for two hours. You can go on your bike is very nice ride!
