A great gift shop, great short movies. Very friendly, helpful rangers. Lots of activities. Great nature walks,all the way to Coast Guard beach.

Ample parking, no charge. Helpful rangers for our questions. Parked car and a 4 mile round-trip run on bike/foot trail to the Coast Guard Beach. Interesting displays.

Really nice visitor center with a top notch, very helpful staff. Spent some time chatting with the nice lady in the gift shop and got some excellent advice on where to see seals!

When you are on the Cape, you have to visit the National Seashore and you definitely need to stop here first and get the recommendations of a Park Ranger. It also has a beautiful view of Great Slat Pond.

You can watch several videos that are playing throughout the day to learn more about the Cape and there is a great museum with lots of artifacts. Nice gift shop and you can pick up maps and talk with staff before you start exploring

No - the ranger led program rents canoes. Other places DO rent kayaks (see responses). You need to call the Salt Pond Visitor Center to register first. They also provide the instruction about canoe safety, life vests... More
