If you are a history buff, this is the place to visit. Actually all of New England is full of history. I learn something new every time I go. I have traveled to New England, Fairhaven, Mass specifically. Great vacation spot.

This is really an important historical site, being the location of the first naval battle in the Revolutionary war. To be fair not much remains intact, but there are a few cannons and explanatory signs detailing the background. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our brirf visit here.
