This house is not open to the public, but is in a very nice neighborhood that we were able to comfortably walk to from the Historical Society. Not much to see having to do with Lizzie Borden, but MAPLECROFT stamped in front step.

It was a beautiful home, didn't get to go inside and I actually thought it would be bigger but nice just the same.

If you're a fan of the history of Lizzie Borden, this is part of her life's story. A second location. Unfortunately, at this time, it is not open for visitors but you can take a picture. Just be respectful to owners.

You can't go in Maplecroft but you can view it from the outside. It's worth viewing this home especially if you stayed in the Lizzie Borden B&B ... it helps you to understand Lizzie's state of mind with one house versus the other. Maplecroft is...More

Lizzie always wanted to live in the rich part of the city which was called "the Hill". Lizzie and her sister, now heirs to their murdered father's large estate, moved to this house 20 days after Lizzie was found not guilty. As you go up...More
