I often pop into these markets if Im up at Moonah on these days. Not only can you browse through the stalls, you can go into the fruit & veg shop attached to the markets. I accidentally broke mums cut glass milk jug, whoops. Too many people in the kitchen and it got wiped off the bench. Had a look... More

Hooray! After searching the web, Hobart and surrounds, for reasonably priced seafood, we finally found somewhere! We wanted to to check out island markets, and in all honesty nearly kept driving after we saw it. It's behind a warehouse, and a bit of a hole. Going inside it looks a bit dowdy, but let's get to the produce. Good selection... More

It's really just a local Supermarket that sells decent amount of frenzy fruit and vegi. It's not a tourist spot. Don't waste your time there.

I have visited this market a few times in the past two years. It is open for four days of the week and you can purchase fresh fruit and vegetables and fish. There are a lot of stores selling second hand items as well as hand made craft and plants. The market is enclosed from the elements and runs through... More

Its a pity Sawak left but Zye the owner was slaving away for little return. Churros coffee and Spanish food is still serving good coffee at under $4 abd their cakes and Doughnuts are made inhouse and are delectable. KOSTAS supermarket is ok but the neat is now not much cheaper than the big boys and Robbos in Glenorchy is... More

It was the first time at this market after intending to come many times. The market website was more promising than what was waiting for us. The best thing is that it is all undercover, however, nothing made me want to stay. We walked through the market, it truly is for a market lover to find something there, it is... More
