Delightful ride on a paved path through scenic parts of Cape Cod. Woods Hole at one end had lots of restaurants and shops.

This bike way is great! It is popular, but not insanely crowded and we were there on a holiday week. Bikes, joggers, walkers, parents with strollers, all are welcome. From the Falmouth beaches to Woods Hole, great way to get exercise and de-stress! Do it!

We enjoyed this bike trail from the woods hole end. It was a little tricky to find at first, but it's located behind the ticket booth/trailer for the ferry. This seemed to be the main entrance. The first little part of the trail had car...More

Rode this with my teenage sun. We started from the north end and enjoyed "reaching the sea" at the end. I think going from Woods Hole to the north would be anti-climatic. It's an easy paved trail with a few easy rode crossings. Highly recommended!

We had a few amazing cycles along this bike way. We hired a tandem, my husband and son cycled it! We made it to woods hold and took the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard! Love love love it!

I and a friend biked this route on a gorgeous early summer day yesterday, and although I'm an avid bicyclist and long time Martha's Vineyard resident, this was my first ride on the Shining Sea path. It's just about 10 very flat easy miles each...More

This isn't a challenging bike ride, that's not the point. But you can hardly beat the views and easy access. We've ridden it a number of times between Falmouth and Woods Hole, with our kids ages 5 -15, with other friends and family, and as...More

If you like Italian food you must go to Slice of Italy in Falmouth. Or for a diner go to Betsy's which is quite good. Both are on Route 28 in Falmouth.

We rented two bikes from Bike Zone in N. Falmouth which is right at the beginning of the trail and I believe we paid around $21 each to have the bikes for the entire day. They did a great job of adjusting the bikes for us.
