Coming from upstate NY, I had never seen a cranberry bog. I ran the Zooma Cape Cod 10k and half marathon race on Sept 30th. About half of the race was on the Shining Sea Bikeway. On the bikeway we had plenty of shade, views...More

We biked this trail on a rainy September day. It was scenic and well maintained. It is mostly flat. We found the cranberry bog an interesting sight.

Had the best day on this path! Highly recommended. Perfect for families or couples. So neat to sea the ocean while riding a bike. Something we dont see here in Dallas !

Beautiful scenery especially approaching Woods Hole. Flat all the way making the ride enjoyable for all ages and fitness levels. Popped into Falmouth village which is a lovely spot for refreshments and a bit of retail therapy!

Was a lovely easy cycle from Falmouth to Woods Hole. We then cycled back from Woods Hole to West Falmouth which again was an easy scenic ride. A great way to spend half a day in the area.

This bikeway takes riders by conservation lands owned and operated by various private and public groups in Falmouth. It may one day connect all the way to the Cape Cod Canal if Pocasset, Bourne and Falmouth towns can agree on planning and cost sharing etc....More

YES! All trail users need to be mindful of others on the trail - runners, walkers, bicyclists etc. It will be a beatiful walk! Bring a picnic/snack and a blanket to enjoy the beach section in Falmouth!

It wide enough to accommodate the traffic you described. There are also benches along the route to take in the scenery.
