This is a nice wide open beach, but it can get very crowded (and parking can get crazy ridiculous) during hot weekends in the summer, at least in early August. Best bet may be to park some ways a way and walk from surrounding area.

Very clean, family oriented beach. The walk from the parking lot to the beach is short. Parking is a little high but our lodging had discount vouchers for $10 which helped. Free parking before 8am and after 5pm.

Not as good as Wingaersheek or Crane Beaches. Facilities second rate in comparison. Free after 5pm. I may be a little biased as l was bitten by something here and it was not by a seagull!

Good Harbor Beach is a local favorite. The beach is expansive, gorgeous and clean. The water is cold. Be sure to get there early as it does fill up. There are bathrooms, outdoor showers, a snack car and a small outdoor shop. Parking is limited...More

We had a beautiful day on the beach! The sand is soft and clean. The water was clear and cold, but so refreshing on a hot day! I was surprised at how crowded it was on a Monday, but I guess everyone wanted relief from...More

I love Good Harbor, but in order to enjoy the day, you must get up very early in the morning and get into the parking lot or you can just forget it. It's very popular and a great beach. It's big, not a lot of...More

A unique beach for New England. It's not full of the huge rocks most of our beaches have. You can see where you are walking in the water. For those of us not crazy about tripping over the sea bed this is great. You can...More

Long, deep, and beautiful. Great because you walk from one end to the other. At the southern end is a great wading area, esp. for little kids.

Has a very gradual slope and the difference in the tides is several hundred yards. Lots of shallow pools for tots. Need to watch the kids but not as much worry they will step off into deep water. At low tide Adults can walk to...More

I'm not sure; I believe you need a parking sticker or you need to pay @25.00-30.00 per vehicle and parking is limited so you need to get there early. I was able to go as I stayed at a hotel about a 15 minute walk to this... More
