This lovely small museum shares all aspects of Gloucester's maritime and fishing heritage. It is especially good for Kids, with a number of interactive exhibits. There is a nice little gift shop as well. A real bonus is the restored schooner the Adventure docked at...More

The place was very nice and the staff were very friendly. Not very big but nice. Unfortunately, the aquarium was closed when we went. Wanted to see that. We still enjoyed ourselves.

Being a long time lover of the string of coastal beauties that Gloucester rests in the midst of, it's hard to explain why it stands out to me. It just does! If I had to choose just one place to sit, eat a Lobster Roll...More

Extremely small museum with very few exhibits. The entrance fee is rather large considering the size of the museum. There are a few hands on exhibits that I am sure the children would enjoy. Not what we expected for a museum.

We brought our three grandchildren to this very nice museum of living history with live fish and models of fish. They had a great time looking for the creatures who are given a nice home in the tanks that seemed well kept.
