Castle on a lake with a draw bridge and arches looking out on the lake and arches looking at the inner courtyard and the rest of the stuff a castle has. Unfortunately it wasn't open when we were there but we could still look around...More

Cool castle and great to do on a rainy day. Very informative with the crazy nature of Hammond and his design work of the castle. You can finish this in about an hour. Entrance was reasonable at $10 with free parking.

Was a very unique home and man to learn about it. Nice thing to do on a rainy day in Gloucester. Make sure you watch the video before you do the tour.

Great architecture and self guided. Good if you enjoy different design work and an eclectic artifact display. A short distance away is the "original" castle built by the father but it remains a private residence and not available to tour.

Wonderful place, as always! Interesting and unique. Reasonable admission and a beautiful location. A wonderful place to wander around for a few hours.

Inside the castle was too dark and smelly. It was hard to see the collection, which was quite a mishmash of things, because of the very low lighting. The castle grounds are a little bit better. It was not worth my $10.

This was worth the $10. It is really necessary to watch the video prior to going through to get the true personality of Hammond and his wife. The signs explained everything but the video showed his eccentric and practical joking ways. I was confused by...More
