We were there for the haunted tour! The staff did a great job scaring people. However, may need a little more time between parties to setup. You can tell the cAstle is beautiful. Would have loved to see it in the daylight. Worth the trip.

My mother and I visited Hammond Castle yesterday. We were fortunate enough to have Mathew as a tour guide and also to be the only two in his party. It was an amazing experience and one we wont soon forget. I highly recommend the tour....More

A great insight into one of the key inventors of his generation, a quirky castle built to amuse himself and annoy others. A significant site for some of the key tools used today in music and war.

This is an amazing place. The Architecture was stunning. I can understand some of the negative comments but for me viewing this site was well worthwhile. Lots of steps and would be difficult for people with mobility limitations.

It is really nice and every time I go there I think it would be an amazing spot for a wedding. However, I do think it is a bit of a tourist trap, especially if you have been to European castles.

We were driving through and only had 15 minutes so we decided to stop and check it out. We knew we would not have time to go in and explore but wanted to at least see the outside and the grounds. The castle is very...More

An over-the-top personal folly of a home dressed up as a castle. While interesting, the castle presented itself more like a theme park attraction. A few rooms stood out as being well put together. Others were pure farce. Not as grand or elegant as Salisbury...More
