I did not go in for the tour. Was magically drawn to the slopping garden. Been visiting in Gloucester a few months, walked by and through the garden watching the season change. Very pretty

I am surprised by the wealth of antiquity and history. Many historical figures who changed the history of the USA are among the list of visitors.

Not the most exciting historic house in the region. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but the story is just not that interesting, particularly if you are not from Gloucester.

A great tour with great information about Judith Sargent Murray, a woman who wrote essays that were both brilliant and funny and pointed to equality between men and women long before that was a common perspective. The house had amazing interior detail, furniture and paintings....More

This was one of my favorite places in Gloucester. Judith Sargent Murray was a fascinating woman and just hearing her story was worth the price of admission.
