Maybe this place is well worth the visit in the summer, but for a cold but sunny day in October it wasn't worth the drive from Gloucester. We were looking for a place to walk the beach, and read that this was good for that,...More

In mid Oct, we were perhaps towards end of season, so we found this beach to be lovely for paddling, photos and beachcombing. Lovely clean soft sand above high tide, firm sand underfoot as a long slow slope to the sea as tide recedes.

Our favorite beach! The sand is pristine, as is the water. It's perfection in New England! We get there very early some days (before sunrise) and have the beach to ourselves. It is amazing!

Went here because of the hipe of all of the sand dollars at low tide. Disappointed because we walked and searched. Only for 4 in 2 hours.

I came here as a child and wanted to show my friend this hiddeb gem. The best part is low tide when the 3/4 mile sandbar is exposed and you can look for sand dollars. He was in awe.

Beautiful beach with clean white sand and clear calm waters. Snack stand and restrooms close by. Get there early to park during peak times. Lovely!

very shallow beach with tide pools make this a great beach for children. there is also a food 'shack' with typical beach food (just the simple stuff). On the downside, it is expensive to park and the parking is very limited, and the road to...More

I love taking the kids to this beach. There are a lot of tidal pools in the rocks and they love adventuring through them

Anytime you should get a good spot they consider the season over because school is back in session for most towns and states. :)
