The location is beautiful, the statue is okay but the lists of the Gloucester fishermen lost at sea is sobering. Some years saw the loss of entire fleets. If your in Gloucester or traveling the scenic route in Essex County then I would stop, but...More

Very nice you walk along the ocean and see the Memorial and watch the boats come in. You can see the bridge go up so the boats can come in.

This is a very small area, but informative. The memorial is very nice, and the plaques gave a lot of information. Moving tribute to the fishermen who lost their lives.

It is a beautiful walk in front of the ocean and you can easily enjoy this monument! Not so hard to find parking if you go early in the day.

Loved visiting this memorial. Helped get a feel for the history of this historic fishing town and understand the profound respect of the sea.

The Fisherman's Memorial anchors (no pun intended) the revitalized waterfront along Stacey Boulevard in Gloucester. Well worth a visit. Continue downtown to a number of fine restaurants and other attractions such as the Harbor Walk and Maritime Museum.

There were literally thousands of names of fisherman lost at sea. Some years back in the 1800's there were 150 lost in one year. Recently, there have been fewer lost, some years none.

Along the side of the street. As you enter Glouster center, there is a parking lot but it is usually full, but along the street is parking with meters.
