Wish there were more to it.It is mostly commercial along the water. And yes the Gordan's Fish statue really does exist. It's in a park like setting looking out to the harbor.

You just cannot help being caught up in the atmosphere of this place. Just going down the streets makes you want to move here and live forever as well as the other small towns along this coast.

A few blocks of boutiques, stores and restaurants. Throwback to the quaintness of yesteryear. Street parking with kiosks. Lovely to stroll the street.

Nothing mind blowing here. Folks are very friendly and the memorial and waterfront are picturesque. It’s worth the trip.

Between local attractions this is a nice town to walk along. It is nice to see independent stores and not big chain stores. Plenty of places to stop. Quaint.

Find a parking spot (metered of course) and start browsing. The nice shops are at the lower end of the street in 100's. Definitely go to Virgillio's. The Cave was closed when we were there, but if you're looking for some treasures or souvenirs it's...More

The several block area can be visited in a matter of a few hours and contains a number of different shops, galleries, and restaurants. We were glad we made time to do so.

We arrived on a dreary day which made this walk down Main Street feel even more like the quintessential small New England town. The shops, the small cafes and quaint pizza shops of this town are represented well on Main Street.

The parking kiosks are convenient and offer substantial time for about $5.00 (5 hours) of walking, browsing and dining. The shops offer varied, tasteful merchandise and the shopkeepers are very friendly.

I was happy to see that this street had opened new doors to shops and restaurants as well as some oldies but goodies. I hope that visitors and residents alike continue to contribute to the economy of the area.

Have not been in Rockport on July 4, but I can say it's important to read the signs. I parked near the harbor and got a $50 ticket. I should have walked around and read the signs that said "resident sticker" only. Good... More
