I love the variety of runs there are! I’ve been coming to butternut since i was very little and i still have the same excitement every time! Most blacks are relatively easy and the terrain parks are nice. definitely recommend!

If you're looking for a good local ski area, not too far from NYC, Butternut is good for couples and families. It's easily accessible to lots of motels and inns. It has good trails.

Nice, fairly quaint. The kids' club/daycare is not conveniently located. Pleasant environment. No shuttle around parking lots.

Beer and wine available in the upper lodge which is only open on weekends and holidays. It's a cafeteria, not a bar, though
