This is a lovely walk along the river, steps away from the main road through the town. On hot days it provides a cool, shaded place to walk. It was built, and is maintained, by volunteers to provide a pleasant trail and also to help...More

A beautifully designed, short walk along a very peaceful and pretty part of the Housatonic. Wish it were a good bit longer as it ended too quickly. Well maintained and nice brochure to go along with it. We'll try the other section of it the...More

First of all the address "195 Main St" is totally inaccurate. This is on the main drag of town, while the walk is actually about 4 streets down the hill from Main St. Once we did find it, we were not impressed. It is on...More

My family of 4 (two adults, 20 year old and 14 year old) enjoyed the walk - it is very short and easy. Part of it takes you through a neighborhood and it does involve a hill - something that should be noted if traveling...More

Very pleasant yes, but underwhelming in that it's so short and runs past old buildings and private property built onto the riverside.

Great walking path along the Housatonic. Strollable is the word. When I was there the river was flowing pretty well and made for some nice scenic stops.

Short, but enjoyable. Hit it while you enjoy the quaint little shops downtown. Easier to find on foot. It's just a little gait, easily missed.

A nicely done walk along the river, nothing spectacular, but a pleasant diversion from Main St. You can start at one end, and make a loop out onto Main St to do some shopping on the way back
