The Triplex Cinema in the heart of Great Barrington, MA is small in comparison to most of the major cinemas. This however, is quickly overshadowed by its convenient proximity to Main Street and offerings of more than just the mainstream "big studio" productions. Whether your...More

As long term residents of the area, my husband & I have gone to the triplex from time to time over the years & have always found it very nice. However, on Sunday, the 25th of June, we went to see a matinee of Beatriz...More

$10 movie tickets, nice and warm with fairly comfortable seats. Decent selection of movies, for adults and kids.

What's not to love? It's not a mall or a big city theatre. It's our little town's movie theater that is clean and cool. People are nice and friendly. Sound and visuals are top notch. It's a great place to see a movie.

Limited selection of movies, but reasonably priced, good popcorn and comfortable. Plenty of off street parking downhill.

The Triplex carries the best of the newest indie and serious mainstream movies--usually not the action and vampire movies so popular with the milennials. It is small--only four screens, but we value its presence in our community. It also hosts for one long weekend each...More

I really like that this theater usually has two blockbusters and two smaller or independent films. The popcorn quality varies a bit but the employees are always really nice. One note: don't trust the movie times listed on Fandango. Call ahead or get your tickets...More

After moving to the Berkshires I found going to the Triplex a great alternative to outdoor recreation. The theater is clean, attractive, runs top movies plus lots of indies and foreign films. Prices are great (compared to NYC prices!!) and I never have to wait...More

The Triplex was and is a great place to catch independent films. It is comfortable and clean. Parking is an issue at times depending the movie's popularity, and seasonality of the area. As a rule getting there earlier is better.
