Website said that it was open on holidays. Went on Columbus Day - no one around. Had e-mailed and called ahead of time - no answer. Seems to be an odd attraction.

We have driven by many a time. We finally called and set up a visit. Very interesting historical items. Some buildings falling into disrepair. You can't just stop so plan ahead.

Amazing private collection representing the life's work of one man - who personally conducts the tour. It's a recreated village with artifacts from the 19th and early 20tj centuries.

Trip advisor said this place was open, we drove 15 miles to get here and it was close. It actually looked pretty dumpy too. Would not recommend wasting your time.
