Closed for several years now this is not Poets' Seat Tower. Poet's Seat Tower is free and located on the other side of Greenfield. Check out the reviews under that attraction. Nice view, multiple trails along the ridge for easy walking. Also really across the street from Highland Park and those trails.

Apparently some contributors are confused on the location. Long View Tower is at the beginning of the Mohawk Trail (2A) and unfortunately is no longer operational, no privately owned as residential. This shakey tower has been closed for some time. Even when it was open I felt like I was taking my life in my hands going up the tower. It's too bad because the view is amazing!

Sad, but true. The Longview Tower seems not to be open any longer. Used to be a fun stop to stop and see the view and maybe even play some mini golf.

Long view shop-closed. Petting Zoo-closed. Leather shop-gone.And the tower is now home for a cell tower, so even when it was still open, access was limited to only 1/2 the tower. Maybe a resurrection is coming down the road, but no time soon.
