This beach is gorgeous, with expansive views of Nantucket Sound. Peaceful, provides a feeling of the vastness of the sea. Beautifully maintained. Excellent for people of all ages. There's seaweed,. Great place to walk any time of year.

It is hard to find a nice quiet beach that has convenient parking and bathrooms, but Red River hits the mark. There is a lifeguard and a hot dog truck, so you can stay all day, feeling safe, playing in the sun.

My husband and I enjoy watching the sunset on winter nights on Red River Beach. They are spectacular!!! Also you can find lots of sea-glass on the beach. Often find a dozen pieces each time.

One side has a shallow river running thru it. Crabbing on both sides. No big waves normally. Sand castles and ice cream truck is a must.

Easy and quick access from parking lot to sandy beach. Lifeguards in summer...even an old fashioned ice cream truck travels through and this year there was a great hotdog stand

The good: a nice beach with concessions, bathrooms, and a lifeguard Not so good: Parking fee Noticed yoga on the beach in the early hours as well as lots of walkers and pople with dogs on leashes.

What a perfect beach to start our vacation in cape cod! Clean, nice sand, not crowded! Seals were feeding on schools of bluefish so we were asked to get out of the water a few times. An interruption that was ok and and kind of...More

A lovely beach with easy walk parking on Nantucket Sound. Beach is clean and so are restrooms. Water is warm and therefore there are many shells and creatures. They don't bother you and after you get through the first few fet, the water and bottom...More
