I have run here quite frequently in both summer and winter. The route is roughly 5-6 miles if you don't take any side paths. It is relatively easy to follow the blazes, but not too terrible if you lose them. All you need to do...More

We canoed but it was too windy on the particular day we had visited. We decided to watch our son and grandson fish. It was more calm in a different area. We've lived in the same town over 30 years so have canoed and fished...More

Large lake with many islands, coves and a walking trail along the shore. In recent years invasive plants have invaded some areas but it is still my favorite place to kayak. Big parking lot, boat ramp, quiet, not a lot of motor boats. Frequently see...More

This is a quite lake with motor boat restrictions for those of us who like to meander in a kayak. There are many little islands that you can tie up to and have a walk or nice lunch out there. Birds are plentiful

I am lucky enough to live here. The woods are so relaxing or you can simply take your boat and enjoy a sunny day doing absolutely nothing. The boat ramp is well done and easy to move in and out of. Fish if you wish...More

Lake Whitehall is not very large, however that makes it easy to park, immediately find a trail, hike for an hour and not get lost. Launch your small fishing boat, kayak or canoe and get out on the water. There is a decent size parking...More

I hiked around the reservoir (about 7 mi) with a group of friends on a sunny cool fall day. Just perfect. Yes, we had some minor difficulties with the trail and the blazes kept changing colors, either yellow or blue. From the boat launch we...More

Love this lake for kayaking, fishing, and hiking. No water skiing or fast speedboats allowed here. Only one boat ramp and the few docks on the lake were grandfathered in. Nesting pair of eagles, beavers, swans, ducks, herons, and lots of fish. Hiking trail all...More

Quiet Lake with very few houses. 15mph speed limit. Travel around some of the Islands and you would think you were in Maine. Great for kayaking and canoeing. Fighing is good too. Nice Boat ramp.
