Nice beach and not crowded if you go in late August. The waves are strong and perfect for water sports. There's a small concession with clean bathrooms. There's an outdoor shower area right outside the concession.

Visited this beach at sunset and it was stunning. Very quiet, white sands, couldn't have asked for anything better. Lots of parking available.

We stopped here briefly after being on Hyannis Main St. All beaches seems to be free after Labor Day so you can visit as many as you like!

Very clean public beach with parking. $20.00 for parking all day, good at other beaches. Nice sand, clear water. My only complaint would be they should have more bathrooms.

Big parking lot. You have to pay for parking, but we took our bikes here. Easy bike ride from town, but riding along the roads - no bike lane. Great snack bar and tables under a pavilion for shade. Great walking around the tip of...More

We spent a beautiful, sunny day at Kalmus Beach. This is a public beach, parking is only $20. There is a snack bar, with clean public washrooms! A lovely place to spend the day with the family.

The beach was average with a nice snack bar. My kids were not allowed to toss a small ball in the water, even away from other swimmers. The beach has a nice harbor view and nice shells to collect. There are portuguese man of wars...More

Bring your hearty sandals because there's plenty of seaweed and shells about as well as a jellyfish warning but a wonderful beach all the same. No major waves but highly recommend the delightful food shack (quahog chowder). There's also saw a rinse area bordering the...More

It was $15 last year not sure it went up but worth it. I like the Lewis Bay side (as you drive in stay to the left). Has a concession stand and restrooms so if you have children it's the best beach. The Bay side avoids the... More
