We took the high speed ferry to Nantucket for a day trip. It took a little under an hour. The trip was pleasant and relaxing. It is an excellent way to get to Nantucket. We did not ferry the car because of the cost. As we later observed, driving and parking on Nantucket are hellish so I am glad that... More

Returned from a quick trip to Nantucket on this service. It was very slick and very comfortable indeed. A no brainer.

Traveled to the Vineyard on Columbus Day. Choppy seas prevented the connection in Oak Bluffs but we did fine docking in Vineyard Haven and taking the $1.50 shuttle bus 1 way to Oak Bluffs. The ship was clean and left and arrived on time. I would say that they could put a little effort into cleaning the outside windows because... More

We were staying in Brewster for a few days and wanted to go over to MV for the day. Steamship Authority out of Woods Hole is the best way to do this. There is plenty of parking and a shuttle to the boat. Round trip is $17. You can take your car but you will need reservations for that and... More

Relaxing and great way to experience the beauty of this landmark area of the U.S. Loved the simplicity and nostalgic aspects of the communities. Get away from the hustle of the big cities and sit back and relax a great boat ride across beautiful waters.

Never met a friendlier group of people. From the parking lot attendants to the captain and crew, everyone was super nice. We were rushing to get the 9:15 ferry and were clearly stressed. Everyone was wicked helpful. Onboard- the boat was clean and comfortable and we had a smooth rides to and from the island

We took the high speed ferry to Nantucket on a recent trip to Hyannis. It is $50 during the week and higher on the weekends. We were there in late September to avoid the horrendous crowds of July and August. The offseason is best. We took the late morning ferry out and the 3:30 ferry back. This gave us enough... More

At suggestion of tour guide on Nantucket, we used the SA ferry rather than the Highline $20 cheaper for the same ride!!! Inside seats, snack bar and TV made it great. Thanks, Ara!
