An appropriate seaside memorial that evokes the call of the sea

The museum is right on Main Street in Hyannis, the heart of the village where there are great shops and restaurants. The museum always has an exhibit about the Kennedy family or the administration, and the exhibits are very well done. There's a statue of President Kennedy out front, and people are always sitting on the benches nearby and taking... More

Not that much to see other than be outdoors with a lovely location near water views. Restroom facilities in park like area. Feeling of history around area. Near Hyannis Yacht Club where Ted hung out. Small beach area and nice playground.

JFK was a Navy man and an avid recreational sailor who loved Hyannisport. This memorial helps to center the visitor in the calm beauty of Cape Cod amid the bustle of summertime Hyannis. That's why he and Jackie came back to Hyannis when they could - to get centered again after the bustle of Washington DC.

A beautiful view warms the heart to see our former President's memorial. The beach and harbor are perfect for photos.

It's easy to spend a few moments at Hyannis harbor at the Memorial. It is large enough that one can read the information while others gather as well.

Took a visitor here, the only way I get to see things sometimes. Had shown them the museum in town but they also wanted to see the Memorial in spite of it being a cold, damp, dreary day. Took their photo in front of the Memorial but had to lighten it up as the gray sky made the Memorial and... More

JFK Memorial Wall - informative. Very nice scenery overlooking the bay of Hyannis. Not too much to observe but if you are in the area it's worth a brief stop. Lots of parking - but probably depends on the time of the year.

To be honest I thought that the memorial to one of the most impactful and popular presidents would have been something on a somewhat grander scale. It was a little park area with painted concrete walkways. His face appears on a round brass relief mounted on dark stone slabs sandwiched in the middle of a stone wall. There is a... More

The museum is small by NYC/DC/Philadelphia standards but gives you the highlights of JFK's career, some great photographs, and features a personal look at his relationship with his family and his close work with RFK. Well worth the visit, I left with a renewed appreciation of the legacy and life of a great American.
