It was a nice visit. The owner of this collection, Bill Putman, greeted us, very welcoming and friendly just like his cats. My boyfriend enjoyed the visit to get up close and personal with these classic cars. I believed the oldest was a 1954 Triumph if I remember it correctly. Thank you for sharing your personal collection with us!

Glad you enjoyed the visit. The cars and the cats were happy too. By the way, the oldest is the 1951 MGTD Thanks, Bill More

For anyone interested in British sports cars fom the 60's & 70's, this will be a nice treat. This is a private collection, not a museum. I enjoyed it.

Hi David, glad you enjoyed. The cars were all drivers and it is a collection that hopefully will all go back on the road someday. Bill More

The Toad Hall Classic Sports Car Museum is a real gem. After you have grown tired of laying on the beach and eating lobster, take a couple of hours and visit this museum. Bill Putnam is a very cordial and knowledgeable host. You will see a great variety of gently restored sports cars - most with a British lineage. If... More

After reading adverts about this place. I was expecting to see some beautiful classic British sports cars. To my dismay the cars were in an open garage with a ceiling that seemed to be falling down, and a multitude of cats running around. The cars seem to be in disrepair and neglected. Luckily for me the owner was not around... More

Remember it's not a museum, but a collection. These cars were all drivers. I keep them for the memories and that's what lots of people, especially older ones, have when they see cars they used to have. Just getting to wiping them down and they will look better. But unlike a museum, people can sit in them take pictures and... More

Large collection of sports cars and cats! =) Unique cars to browse and admire times gone by! Worth the stop to those who love classic cars.

I came here 28 years ago after my wife died and all the cars and cats are kinda 'replacements' and all things I love. They do bring back memories, cars that is. The regular admission is $8 and I'm toying with the idea to have a Seniors rate of $12 as they certainly relate better to them. What ya think?... More

Fans of vintage sports car will find this private collection very enjoyable and a great way to spend an hour or two. Mostly British (with a few Japanese cars set up for SCCA racing), these cars from the 50s, 60s and 70s, are the ones that I lusted after while growing up. As a bonus they are all painted red.... Toad Hall is a Hidden Treasure of Classic Sports cars. I particularly enjoyed the Lotus collection. There are also Jaguars, Austin Healeys , MGs, and others. There is even a complete group of Datsuns , some of which were Raced by Bill, the Museum owner and his Minuteman Racing Team. Thanks for a unique experience ! Richard McP

It's 'rewarding' to have people enjoy these older classics as much as I do. Not museum pieces, but running cars. Thanks for coming! More

Not sure where else in the world you would find a collection like this? Not only walking around looking, touching the cars and reading all the paraphernalia (mind your heads on the low ceiling) but getting to sit in the cars was fantastic. Highlight for me was getting to sit in a Lotus Europa, E Type coupe and roadster. The... More

Glad you enjoyed them as much as I do. Nothing really rare or anything, just a fairly complete collection of great English road cars. Telling others like you did helps more folks enjoy them. THanks. More

At least 50+ mostly British sports cars from the '50s and '60 primarily. All cars are red! Plan to spend about an hour if you wish to read all of the notes. Photos are permitted. We paid $8 each for an adult admission. Well worth it if you like British cars.

Cool collection of classic British sports cars. Fun stop with the family on a rainy April day. Owner is super nice.

It is a good rainy day activity as most are drop head coupes and won't be outside on those days. :-) More
