Off the beaten path, a bit eccentric, but fascinating tour of a corner of 20th Century art. Worth it on a second trip.

The architecture, setting and contents of this home are exceptional. In an area where most if not all homes open to the public represent the Gilded Age I found it refreshing to see a home built and furnished in the first half of the 1900's...More

We planned a weekend in Lenox because it had already closed when we were here last year--and we were not disappointed! It is an amazing place. The house itself is beautiful--outside and in--and the rooms retain both the flavor and taste of the original owners,...More

This is the house of two artists who were great painters and lead interesting lives. The wife was also an opera singer with considerable talent. The guides are friendly and well informed. The grounds are lovely.

Yes, we have accommodations for those who cannot climb stairs and have a wheelchair or walker. We access the different levels with a golf cart transport. It is ideal to call ahead to make sure enough staff are available.
