Just another neat place to visit while you are in Marblehead. The paper thin tombstones dating back to the 1700's are impressive. Stroll at your own pace

We stumbled on this cemetery while walking the area. It is a pretty little cemetery with a great view. We found out while we were in Salem that this cemetery was used in the film Hocus Pocus.

It is the most sacred ground in Marblehead and the resting place of the town founders and Revolutionary hero General John Glover. Its' site is on a granite nob overlooking the harbor and the vast Atlantic beyond.
