We decided one day as we were staying in Salem to take a drive and to see what was in the area and we wound up in a little town called Marblehead. It was a very nice town with beautiful homes and other items. As...More

This is a fine place to visit when in Marblehead, but don't expect too much. It's just a small point where you can climb up and take in the views, or stroll down and enjoy the sand/rocks. Pretty for sure.

When you drive or walk around the Marblehead Neck, be sure you spend a few minutes to walk down to the Castle Rock. You'll enjoy a 180 degree view of the ocean when you climb up on top of the rock.

We walked back from the Lighthouse down the Atlantic side, of the island. This took us to a point called Castle Rock Park which had a bus load of tourists visiting. Disappointingly it turns out that the park is not named for any famous Castle,...More

This out of the way Park is worth the effort to find. It provides amazing views of the ocean in both directions. There are benches to sit and watch the waves crash in. This is a lovely usually up crowded oasis.

Quiet and pretty ocean views. Rocky climb. Spend time watching the tide roll in. Bring a lunch. Worth the short walk down the path

Well, it takes a few sets of eyes to find this place, and don’t be embarrassed by turning around a few times. The entrance is between two beautiful, and wealthy estates. The rocks are jagged, and dangerous, but as long as you’re careful, and take...More

My favorite place to think and dream with a view of the Atlantic to die for. Off Ocean Ave. next to the castle which I'm given to understand is now a bnb.

We made a little stop here to walk out and enjoy the view. I did not climb to the top of the rock, but there were folks scrambling up to enjoy the view from on high. If you are driving by, it is worth the...More

I love Castle Rock. It has ocean views from two directions. You can climb on the rock itself for better views. Wear shoes with ankle support, ground can be uneven.

Sorry, I was looking at the views and did not notice is there was any sea glass. Good luck!
