Fun place to stop when visiting Longfellow's Wayside Inn schoolhouse, gristmill, and church. George Washington stayed here. Hugh selection of candy in one room and nick-nacks in the other. I love the spun molasses candy that is only available in the fall and winter months....More

Tons of parking, good location, nice restaurant next door. Overlooks a pond. Very old-timey feeling. Great pre-post Wayside Inn visit.

You will spend more time (and money) than planned here. The candy selection is unbeatable but it is not self serve which can be a little a frustrating. Unique gifts and nostalgia abound.
