A beautiful natural wildlife sanctuary. Birdlife is a bit sparse now but definitely bluejays, white breasted nuthatches, hawks and of course the poop machines (Canada Geese) that seem to have taken over. They make walking on the paths a little distracting when one eye has...More

We can walk to this Audubon preserve from our house so we come here quite often. I’ve walked and snowshoed here. It is also possible to use a stroller just with a few bumps. I’ve also kayaked in from Peter Igo Park. It’s very scenic...More

A fairly small, wooded area to walk. Nice paths and lots of open fields. Nice wooden boardwalks throughout. Was expecting to see a better variety of birds. Kind of a boring trip as there was very little wildlife. Just geese, two swans, a few ducks...More

Lovely trails through fields and woods ... observation blinds for viewing birds on the pond. A great stop for a leisurely walk.

Walk here 2 to 3 times a week. Great place to bird watch. Very peaceful! No dogs allowed so as not to disturb the wildlife. They ask u to leave a donation, used to be a couple of dollars, Beautiful in the fall.

This is my go-to place for walking all four seasons of the year. Several trail options, so you can choose a walk through the fields, a stroll by the river, a boardwalk trek in the woods. Great place for kids, with secret trails. Bring binoculars...More

The sanctuary is a beautiful place to go pretty much anytime of year. The wildlife here is gorgeous and the land is extensive. It costs a minimal donation to enter but is worth it. The wooded area is lovely and so peaceful. I've never been...More

Its doable if you have a stroller that some use while jogging - most paths are wide and so are the boardwalks. I've not seen anyone use a stroller during the times I've been there though. Children are either big enough to... More
